  3. (Notes for use of this procedure:
  4. (Change the COMM, ATDT, and RECA paths as needed
  5. (Insert your first and last name in place of mine
  6. (Change password to yours
  7. (Before using this procedure, sign on the board, and select Message area 5
  8. (Then sign off.  This will make Area 5 the default message area when you sign
  9. (back on.  If you have a different Area shown when you enter the Message
  10. (Sections, the TYPE string under (Go to Message Boards) will have to be 
  11. (changed.  The string is used to clear out the Check for Mail question, which
  12. (will cause trouble with the ALERT strings when reading new messages.
  13. (Let me know if you have problems with this.

  15. (Also, when you invoke this procedure, and GAMUG answers
  16. (you will have to start FIDO by hitting the space bar a couple
  17. (of times.
